I live and shoot in St. Augustine, which means when you book me, you’re not just hiring a camera — you’re hiring someone who knows this area inside and out. Clients hire me because they can trust me to handle the details, communicate clearly through the whole process, and show up reliably on the day that matters most. Here’s exactly what that looks like from booking to delivery.

Before Your Date: I Plan This With You, Not Just For You

Some guys come to me with a specific spot already in mind — they know exactly where they want to propose, sometimes down to the exact bench or archway. If that’s you, great, we build the plan around it. But plenty of guys come to me with no location at all, just the idea that they want it to be special. If that’s you, I help you figure out the actual spot based on what fits you two, not just what looks nice on Instagram.

Once we have a location, I tell you the best time to be there. That’s not a guess — it’s based on how the light moves through that specific spot, when the crowds tend to clear out, and what the weather typically does that time of year. A courtyard that’s packed with tourists at noon might be empty and glowing an hour before sunset. I know that because I’m there constantly, not because I looked it up.

If your spot requires a permit — like the Lightner Museum here in St. Augustine — I also handle the application, provide the Certificate of Insurance the venue requires, and secure everything on your behalf. You’ll never have to think about it.

From there, we keep refining the plan together. I’ll walk you through exactly where to go, how the flow of the day will work, and what to expect at every step, so there’s no guessing on the day itself. And leading up to your date, I’m a resource for anything that comes up — outfit questions, timing, last-minute nerves, whatever it is. You can text me anytime.

On the Day: You’re Not Doing This Alone

I get to the location before you do and stay out of sight so nothing gets spoiled. When you arrive, I’m already there, already scouted, already ready. You don’t have to think about where to stand or what happens next — I’ve laid all of that out for you ahead of time.

Once the moment happens, I stay back and let it be yours. No cues, no direction, no me stepping in too soon. You get the whole thing to yourselves first. When you’re ready, I come in, introduce myself, and we move into a few guided portraits together while the two of you are still glowing. And don’t worry, I will guide you with posing after the proposal so that you look natural and don’t feel awkward.

What You Walk Away With

You’ll get around full gallery of edited images from your session, covering the buildup, the moment itself, the reaction, and the portraits after. Every color image is also delivered in black and white, so you get both versions of every shot. Galleries are delivered within 48 hours, so you’re not waiting weeks to relive it or share it with family.

Booking Is Simple, Too

Pricing starts at $700 and varies by location — that starting rate doesn’t include the permit fee for venues that require one, like the Lightner Museum. A 50% deposit locks in your date, and the balance isn’t due until the day before your session. One straightforward package, everything covered — including the parts most people don’t think to ask about until it’s too late.

Why I Built It This Way

I’ve done this enough times to know the paperwork and logistics are what actually stress guys out — not the proposing part. So I take that off your hands completely. My job is to make sure the only thing you have to focus on is showing up and getting down on one knee. I’ll take care of the rest.
