One of the things I love most about being a Savannah engagement photographer is how every session feels completely unique. Savannah is full of charm — from oak-lined streets to cozy hidden corners in addition to sleek, modern spaces — and this downtown engagement session shows just how versatile the city can be.
A Chic and Romantic Downtown Setting
These two wanted something stylish, modern, and a little different from the classic park session, so we started in a chic downtown bar. The vibe was intimate and romantic — warm lights, polished details, and just the right amount of sophistication. She wore a strapless white mini dress with a statement bow and the most incredible bow-detailed heels (truly the star of the night alongside her gorgeous engagement ring). Similarly, he kept it timeless in a crisp white shirt and dark trousers. Together, they looked like they belonged in a magazine spread.

One thing my couples always tell me is how nervous they feel at first, but that’s where I step in. I guide you through the entire session, from how to stand to what to do with your hands, so you never feel awkward or forced. This session was no different — I gave them direction, but also plenty of space to just be themselves. The result?
