"Photography is about photographers.

A camera didn’t make a great picture any more than a typewriter wrote a great novel"

Hey! I’m Phavy, and I live for capturing those real, unforgettable moments on your wedding day. I’ve been doing this for over 14 years, and my style is all about keeping it authentic, vibrant, and true-to-color—like you’re reliving each moment exactly as it happened.

I take a documentary approach, which basically means I’m here for all the candid, in-between moments that make your day uniquely you. From the laughs to the happy tears, I’m capturing it all, just as naturally as it unfolds. My goal? To give you photos that feel timeless, real, and full of emotion, so you’ll look back on them and remember exactly how it felt.

I’m from Lowell, a little town outside of Boston, MA. Now based in St. Augustine, I love capturing weddings all over. From Jacksonville to Los Angeles and Boston, I’m ready to travel wherever your love story takes us.

st. augustine, jacksonville, savannah, St. Simons island -- no matter where you are, we will be there for you!

I was born and raised in Lowell, MA (and Lawrence, MA). I moved to Jacksonville while I was a junior in high school, met my husband then and never left. The majority of my family lives in Massachusetts. Less than a handful is in Florida. I do dream someday we will move to Massachusetts but for now we keep Jacksonville as our home.

We have three kids. The youngest being a toddler and the oldest getting ready for college. It's a crazy, chaotic, fast paced life... But somehow.. just somehow I have found a great balance in life while handling home and business.

My Family

We live for

I am always traveling with my family. I love that I am able to do this. This world is huge and we can not see enough of it. We are blessed to live quite an exciting life, always on the go. We travel for both work and leisure. I love to capture the beauty in anything and everything. Travel opens up my creativity, and gives my family a different perspective of things.

I feel this is important to add, especially for other Khmer folks. The #1 question I get asked when meeting people is: "What are you?" And most will guess Filipino or Hawaiian. Given the demographic I am currently in, not many know much about Cambodians -- the people of Cambodia. But I was born and raised in Lowell, otherwise known as Cambodia Town, so where I am from everyone knows I am Khmer.

Yes, it is rare to find a Cambodian girl born in the states who decide to take on photography full time. I love to show that every human, especially of the Khmer decent are resilient people and could achieve anything we put our minds too. I love having these conversations on my background, where my family came from, what they been through, and how they are doing.
